Tegan and Sarah's Baby is Born!
I
haven't written in quite a while, but the news is...Teg and Sarah's
baby was early, born on April 13..Rylan Parker..6lbs 15oz....after hours and hours of labor, and a
c-section! Whew, glad it is over for them and what a cute little
peanut. So far, he's a good lad, not too fussy and easy to calm down if
he does let out a cry. Luckily for him, mommy is watching him during the
days, because budgetary issues cost many teachers their jobs (big GRRR from me);unlucky for the adults when it wrecks havoc on the budget. But they are amazing with Thrift Store finds, Craig's List, and couponing. A brand new, $70.00 pack of diaper cover thingies was found for $8.00--wow! Sarah even made Rylan's little onsie and Tegan has plans for a home-made pvc pipe fun tent! This grammie is so glad she got to cuddle a new baby... smile.

Old Koloa Town
The barber chair in Old Koloa Town--behind which papayas can be had for free! Just don't take the avocados! Make sure you stop to play in the 'stream' or toss in a few sticks and rocks, then go around the corner to watch chickens enter the grocery store and throw crumbs to the extremely ugly duck!
Playing around in PhotoShop...
